Maple Grove Hy-Vee Officially Opens
The new Maple Grove Hy-Vee store opened to the public Tuesday morning.
Shoppers told CCX, they’re excited to have a grocery store close by.
“I think we had to travel maybe 10 miles but this, I think is 2 or 3 miles, so it’s going to be great,” said Helen Skutley from Corcoran.
The 98,000 sq. ft. store is located at Bass Lake Road and County Road 101.
The Maple Grove store includes a housewares department, an all-natural bath and bod department and a large open dining area with a full-service bar.
Shoppers coming in Tuesday morning already have their favorites.
“It’s awesome, it’s big, it has a lot more products than the other grocery stores have and definitely love the bistro area and favorite section would be the home made pizza, wood fire pizza looks awesome,” said Laura Corbett from Medina.
Currently, there are more than 300 people working at the Maple Grove location. The store hopes to staff about 500 in total.
