Maple Grove Cupcake Shop To Offer ‘Land of 10,000 Cakes’ at State Fair
A sweet Maple Grove favorite is coming to the Great Minnesota Get-Together. Nadia Cakes will be making its first-ever appearance at the Minnesota State Fair.
The cake shop is partnering with Minnesota-based Bridgeman’s ice cream for a layered state fair sundae treat.
Nadia Cakes General Manager Lauren Vandenberg said it’s kind of like a trifle: there’s a scoop of butter brittle ice cream between each cupcake. They topped it with whipped cream and a cherry.
As for the cakes, there are three layers of specially-designed mini cupcakes, all stacked in a cup. They include the popular flavors of chocolate bliss, loaded pistachio and creme brulee.

Nadia Cakes and Bridgeman’s “Land of 10,000 Cakes.” Cupcakes, ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry make up the dessert.
The treat is called “The Land of 10,000 Cakes.” Vandenberg helped design the dessert and said it’s the perfect combination of flavors.
“We are so excited to be a part of the fair. They were looking for something a little different; something unique that no one’s ever done at the fair before,” Vandenburg said.
For now, that treat will only be available at the state fair. People can pick it up in August at the Bridgeman’s booth, located by the sheep and poultry barn.
The Minnesota State Fair starts on Aug. 21 and runs through Labor Day.
