Maple Grove Company Gives Park Brook Elementary $10,000
Park Brook Elementary School got a big surprise on Tuesday. They received $10,000. The announcement that came after a school-wide double dutch assembly.
The donation came from Burlington, a new clothing store opening in Maple Grove this Spring. Burlington partnered with Adopt-a-Classroom as part of its grand opening celebration.
The school principal said the money will be used to purchase school items.
“I look at our families and I’m almost positive that almost every one of them, they are all working but sometimes money is tight. So to provide extra money to our classrooms really benefits the students here,” said principal Scott Taylor.
Taylor said the surprise fits the school’s theme this year of trying to make the world a better place.
