Maple Grove Arts Center Searching for New Home
A special meeting place for artists in Maple Grove is searching for a new home.
The Maple Grove Arts Center, which has called The Fountains at Arbor Lakes home for about seven years, needs to find another storefront where its members can sell their goods.
“We’ve got some momentum, which now I’m afraid we might lose a little of,” said Lise Spence-Parsons, president of the Maple Grove Arts Center.
But it depends what happens in the next couple of weeks. So it could be we have to go to storage, or it could be that we move straight into a new venue. [I] just don’t know.”
The landlord has offered the space at 11666 Fountains Dr. to the arts center for free, but now a new tenant will be moving in this July.

The Maple Grove Arts Center is looking for a new home.
As a result, the arts center has to move from the space by July 11.
It’s been a haven for local artists, offering Maple Grove’s community of creators a place to gather, as well as a retailer to display and sell their goods.
“They’ve been able to publicize their work, get other people looking at it,” Spence-Parsons said. “We’ve made a lot of sales over the years. We’ve managed to support the artists in ways that before in Maple Grove has not been possible.”
The arts center is looking for volunteers to help with the move. It also is looking for financial donations.
