Luce Line Brewing Plans Chinese New Year Celebration
Luce Line Brewing Company in Plymouth is partnering with the Chinese Heritage Foundation to showcase traditions of the Chinese Lunar New Year in an event coming up this Saturday.
The CEO of Luce Line Brewing says he got the idea for the event from his daughter, who took Chinese language classes in high school.
There will be tables for customers to make Chinese dumplings, medallions and lanterns as well as dances and a Tai Chi demonstration. In Chinese culture, 2023 is the year of the rabbit.
“The rabbit is viewed as representing longevity, prosperity and this is anticipated to be a really great year for everyone,” said Naumann. “I think people will come away going ‘wow, I had never experienced that before’ and they can have a great beer while doing it.”
Attendees are encouraged to wear red for good luck.
