Longtime Council Member Judy Johnson Says Goodbye
After 20-plus years on the Plymouth City Council, Judy Johnson will be resigning March 6 so she can serve on the Metropolitan Council.
At her last council meeting, she recounted the many changes that happened in Plymouth during her 20-plus years in service.
“My most favorite thing was when we got the third lane on 494 ,” said Johnson. “I think half the reason I kept running for city council was because I wasn’t going to quit until that thing was done. That was an awesome moment for our community.”
Those present gave Johnson a standing ovation.
