Life of Pi Turns Sweet at Plymouth Community Center
Volunteers in Plymouth were handing out a sweet treat on Friday to celebrate an important mathematical concept.
March 14 is also known as Pi Day, which celebrates the mathematical constant beginning with the numbers 3.14.
The city of Plymouth hosted a Pi Day party, complete with pies and ice cream.
“It’s PI Day! So if you’re a mathematician you know what it’s all about,” said volunteer Linda Stewart. “But if you’re not a mathematician, you just come and eat pie, and either way, you win.”
