Large L.L.Bean Store Coming to The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes
The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove is adding another big name to its lineup: outdoor lifestyle brand L.L.Bean.
The retailer will move into four storefronts comprising about 17,000 square feet. The new store will be located across the street from H&M.
Demolition is already underway to make room for the store.
“I think it just reinforces that The Shoppes and Maple Grove in general is such a desired location,” said Arbor Lakes Marketing Manager Linda Sell. “We are located in a great area, we have a wonderful community. We’ve been very fortunate, that we are putting together a great merchandise mix that really appeals to the people in our community.”
The store is known for its canvas boat bags, duck boots and durable outerwear.
Sell said L.L. Bean is planning to open the store early next summer. It’s the latest addition to a lineup of other popular retail spots, including Lululemon and Duluth Trading Company, to the Maple Grove shopping destination.
L.L. Bean has one other location in Minnesota at the Mall of America in Bloomington.
The Shoppes’ Lululemon location before its opening last year.
