Kimberly Lane Elementary School Closes Due to Water Main Break
Kimberly Lane Elementary school in Plymouth is once again closed due to a broken water main line.
School officials said it’s the same water main that broke in October, but this time it’s about 75 feet away from the previous fix.
Kimberly Lane students were sent home Tuesday morning.
The issue didn’t impact any other schools in the Wayzata district.
The city is determining if the issue is isolated or indicates a larger problem in the area.
Public works crews expect to have the break repaired on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kimberly Lane students can expect to be back in class Wednesday morning.
