Interfaith Outreach Helps with Early Childhood Needs
Interfaith Outreach in Plymouth will highlight its work with early childhood education at the 15th Annual Caring for Kids Breakfast on May 19.
The nonprofit does quite a bit of work with early childhood education.
“We look at it as from the cradle, to community to career and the whole continuum is important for us to provide for our kids,” said executive director Kevin Ward. “We want to make sure kids are ready for kindergarten, ready for first grade, what that consists of is working with families who don’t have access and make sure they have access to quality childhood care.”
During the pandemic, Ward said they helped facilitate care for the children of essential and front line workers.
