Hy-Vee Offers Free Full-Service Fueling During COVID-19 Pandemic
Hy-Vee is now offering free, full-service fueling at its more than 165 convenience stores in response to COVID-19 concerns. Customers wanting to use the full service option must select the pump’s ‘Fuel Help’ button or call a designated number found on signs at each pump.
There are Hy-Vee convenience stores in New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale and Maple Grove. The service will be offered at select fuel pumps from at least 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
Once customers select the full-service fueling option, employees will meet customers at their vehicles, process their transactions and pump gas without the customer having to leave their car. They will even wash your windows.
Food and items from the convenience store can also be ordered and delivered to customer vehicles using the service. Workers are wearing gloves to protect themselves against the virus.
