Human Chain of Giving Remains Unbreakable in Golden Valley
A decades-long tradition of holiday giving continued this week in Golden Valley.
Allianz Life employees, as well as several local spots mascots, formed a human chain to fill a truck with donations at their Golden Valley building on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The insurance company’s employees donated more than $85,000 to local nonprofits. Likewise, they donated more than 11,000 pounds of food, 9,000 pounds of clothing and 650 toys.
Golden Valley-based PRISM and Brooklyn Park-based Second Harvest Heartland are among the beneficiaries. Toys for Tots and The Arc Minnesota also benefited from the drive.
