Allianz Human Chain of Giving Brings People Together
Hundreds of Allianz Life employees formed a human chain to load a semi truck with donations on Friday. Thousands of food, toys and clothing items will go to local nonprofits. Charities benefiting from the donations include Second Harvest Heartland, Toys for Tots, The Arc Minnesota and PRISM.
“We’re seeing the need continue to grow. We got about 85 new families every single month that come in to access the food shelves,” said PRISM Executive Director Michelle Ness. “The needs are real and the contributions and support are needed more than ever.”
In addition to the human chain of goods, Allianz employees also donated thousands of dollars to the charities. PRISM received a check for $70,000.
