Historians Learn about Brooklyn Park’s Jefferson Highway
The only north-south section of what was once a highway stretching the country now exists only in Brooklyn Park. Jefferson Highway, named for Thomas Jefferson, once was nicknamed “Palms to Pines Highway.” Historian Carol Ahlgren talked to the Robbinsdale Historical Society about her year-long research project.
