Good Shepherd Students Create “Blessing Bags”
Families of students attending Good Shepherd School in Golden Valley created “blessing bags,” Ziploc bags of personal hygiene products and snacks to hand out to people in need. Students filled enough bags for every student to take home.
“They’ll take their bag home, keep it in the car, so if they see someone who is in need, they can reach out and give them that bag,” said Julie Starosta from Good Shepherd School. “It kind of gets kids involved in understanding there aren’t as many people who are as lucky as they are.”
Starosta said families were very generous in donating items for the bags.
