Good Shepherd Hosts Colorful Event
Students, staff, and volunteers at Good Shepherd School in Golden Valley capped off Tuesday in a colorful way. The Golden Valley school hosted its third color run with more than 300 participants. The money raised goes to classroom renovations at Good Shepherd School.
“It’s a win-win for everybody,” explained Julie Starosta. “It’s a beautiful day to be outside with beautiful colors and beautiful new classrooms.”
Participants ran, or walked, around the school where there were three color stations. As a runner passed a color station, volunteers would bomb them with new colors. It’s a messy, but fun event.
And if you are wondering about that colored powder, it is just colored corn starch.
