Golden Valley Votes to Reduce Trash Collection Days
Trash collection days in Golden Valley will change beginning in April.
The city council voted to change the days of trash collection from five days a week to two.
Trash haulers will only be able to collect trash on Mondays and Fridays between 7 a.m and 6 p.m.
The city currently has a total of eight licensed residential haulers. The city’s goal is to get that number down to four.
