Golden Valley Studying Potential Changes to Garbage Hauling
Golden Valley’s League of Women Voters will help the city decide who should haul away residents’ garbage.
The local civic group is conducting a study on a possible change. The city of Golden Valley is considering whether to change its current system where residents choose their own haulers, or switch to an organized garbage collection system.
According to the League’s research, Golden Valley has the highest number of garbage haulers per person out of 11 cities it studied.
The group plans to reveal an official position on the matter at a later date.
