Golden Valley Police Start “No Ticket, Fix It” Program
“No ticket, fix it.” That’s the tagline of a new Golden Valley police program.
Instead of writing tickets for vehicle equipment violations like a faulty taillight or broken side mirrors, Golden Valley police will issue a coupon for $25 off the needed repair.
This is the first year for the program and funds come from the Golden Valley Crime Prevention fund.
The new program rolled out on Friday.
