Golden Valley DMV Reopens to Full Service
The Motor Vehicle Licensing Department (DMV) office at Golden Valley City Hall reopened for full service Monday, June 29. However, customers must make an appointment.
Customers are encouraged to review the DMV’s temporary COVID-19 guidelines before scheduling an appointment on the city’s website.
Some of those guidelines include social distancing, following all posted instructions and waiting in the car until 5 minutes before the appointment.
Customers looking to renew vehicle tabs in a contact-less fashion can use the Utility Drop Box located to the left of City Hall’s main doors. The new tabs will be sent in the mail.
In May, CCX reported that the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services Division (DPS-DVS) was rescheduling more than 12,000 class D road tests that were canceled due to the pandemic.
