Golden Valley Arts and Music Festival is September 14
The festival season in the Northwest Metro may be winding down, but there’s still some fun to be had. September 14 is Golden Valley’s Arts and Music Festival. It’s an annual tradition that includes great music, artists, food trucks, and lots of activities for the kids. At the same time, it’s trying to raise money for a number of good causes.
Donations will go to the Golden Valley Community Foundation. That group funds initiatives like the city’s Pride festival, the Farmers Market. It also gives out small “Spark” grants to other activities that benefit the city.
“It’s whole purpose is to build community and to fund activities,” says festival organizer Steven Pesavento. “That will help enhance the lifestyle of the residents and surrounding residents of Golden Valley.”
