Fussy, Queitzsch Win Golden Valley City Council Race
Tracey Fussy and Chris Queitzsch topped a crowded field of seven candidates in the race for two Golden Valley City Council seats in the Nov. 4 election.
Fussy received 3,593 votes, or 30.44 percent of the total votes cast in the election.
Queitzsch came in second with 2,885 votes, or 24.45 percent of the total votes.
Trailing in third place was Jean Kidd, with 1,520 votes or 12.88 percent of the total votes.
Andy Johnson followed in a close fourth place with 1,517 votes or 12.85 percent of the total votes.
Joanie Clausen received 1,139 votes or 9.65 percent of the total votes, while Aaron Black received 984 votes or 8.34 percent of the total votes.

Voters elected Tracey Fussy and Chris Queitzsch to the Golden Valley City Council in the Nov. 4 election.
Steve Dent appeared on the ballot but announced during a League of Women Voter’s forum that he had suspended his campaign.
Dent received 146 votes or 1.24 percent of the total votes.
Tracey Fussy and Chris Queitzsch will replace Denise La Mere-Anderson and Gillian Rosenquist, who did not run for re-election.
