Funeral Items Stolen From Brooklyn Center Front Porch
A Brooklyn Center family is urgently trying to find replacements for the funeral items stolen from their front porch.

The items cost roughly $130.
Last week, 44-year-old Vameng Xiong unexpectedly passed away. The family was preparing for his funeral when they noticed some packages were missing.
In a statement to CCX News, the Xiong family said in part,
“During this difficult time of losing our sibling, we only wanted to ensure that we give him a respectful funeral…But our brother would say, ‘Whoever took the items probably needed it more than we did during this difficult time.’ The holidays are hard times, but losing a loved one makes it even harder. These items are material things that can be replaced but our loved one can’t.”
Vameng Xiong’s funeral is set for Saturday. The family does have a GoFund Me page set up.
