Former Minnetonka Toys R Us to Become Hobby Lobby
Another Hobby Lobby is coming to the Northwest Metro. A former well-known toy store in the Ridgedale Festival Center is about to transform into a new location for the craft store chain.The Toys Я Us closed in the spring of 2018 when the company went bankrupt and liquidated all of its stores.
Hobby Lobby stores have opened in many of the former Toys Я Us location across the US. This store is expected to open in February.
Toys Я Us still owns the Maple Grove storefront that used to house the toy store.
