Former Brooklyn Park Council Member Dies

Dean Heng, who served on the Brooklyn Park City Council from 2009-2012, died before Christmas after a battle with cancer. Heng served in Vietnam and during his time on the city council, made reducing crime a top priority. He was 75 and is survived by his wife of 50 years.
