Five Candidates File for Open Ward 2 Robbinsdale Council Seat
Five candidates have filed for the Robbinsdale City Council’s open Ward 2 seat.
As a result, the city will host a special primary election on May 14 ahead of the special election.
The candidates are Marc Akerlind, Kyle Bille, David Dirkers, Jason Greenberg and Christopher Rasmussen.
They are vying for the seat previously held by Sheila Webb, who resigned last fall.
Five candidates have filed for the election to fill the Robbinsdale City Council seat formerly held by Sheila Webb.
Early voting is currently open at Robbinsdale City Hall.
The League of Women Voters will also host a candidate forum at 7 p.m. on April 24 in the Robbinsdale City Council chambers. It will be available to stream at CCXMedia.org.
