First Student’s Safety Dog Visits Brooklyn Park School
First Student’s Safety Dog Bus Tour gave local kids the chance to learn about school bus safety in a fun way.
Kids at Edinbrook Elementary in Brooklyn Park learned how to ride the bus safely. The kids toured a school bus and explored several information stations. As a bonus, they could get their picture taken with Safety Dog.
“Not all students ride a bus every day,” said First Student’s Jenifer Doyle. “But just about every student is gonna be on a bus at some point. Whether it’s for a field trip or a charter, or if it’s a regular bus rider. So understanding how to keep themselves safe is really good.”
The bus tour is a nationwide traveling event. They’re off to Racine, Wis., next.
