Emergency Broadband Benefit Helps People Stay Connected
Staying connected to the internet is becoming more important, even as we emerge from the pandemic.
There’s a new temporary, federal program to help people stay connected to the internet. The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month to eligible households. Eligibility requirements range from participating in programs like SNAP or Medicaid or qualifying for free or reduced price lunches.
Comcast customers have to confirm their eligibility in order to get the discount.
