Elm Creek Swim Pond Opens June 26
Hot temperatures have residents looking forward to cooling off at Elm Creek Swim Pond.
The Three Rivers Parks District announced the swim pond will reopen Friday, June 26th.
Before the pool can open, Bruce Bolduan with Three Rivers Parks said they have to get the park and staffing levels ready.
Details of social distancing plans will be available later, but Bolduan is encouraging people to use as much space as they can to avoid crowding at Elm Creek Swim Pond.
“When you take a look at this area, it’s a large space,e so there’s plenty of operations to move around,” he said.
Bolduan suggests people to come at a slower time and get a season pass online to avoid waiting in lines.
Three Rivers Parks District also announced that playgrounds will reopen June 19th.
