East Medicine Lake Park Revamped
If you haven’t been to East Medicine Lake Park recently, you are in for a pleasant surprise.
Plymouth city council member Ned Carroll says you can’t beat the beautiful view of the lake, but there are other new facets of the park.
“They are going to notice the complete renovation of the park,” says Carroll. “This beautiful area here still takes advantage of the gorgeous view of the lake. But they are also going to see a 16 foot tall play structure with this awesome fast slide.”
Carroll says the slide is fast, but not too fast.
The city of Plymouth spent around a million dollars renovation the park. The renovation refreshed the beach, improved drainage, and replaced the playground. There’s also a rentable shelter, restrooms and new lights in the parking lot.
