Distracted Teen Crashes Car into Crystal Home
Police say a teen crashed a car into a Crystal home around midnight on Sunday, Dec. 29.
The crash happened in the 3900 block of Jersey Avenue.
According to police, the driver was distracted and traveling too fast as his vehicle went off the road.
The vehicle struck a parked car, a garage, and a home.
No one was hurt, but there was significant damage to the home and parked car.
“Officers determined that speed and distraction were the primary causes of this accident and the juvenile driver was issued a citation for reckless driving,” said Crystal Deputy Police Chief Brian Hubbard.
