D’Amico to Cater Biggest Event Yet at Edinburgh
The catering company taking over restaurant operations at Brooklyn Park’s Edinburgh USA Golf Course faces its biggest challenge yet this weekend. D’Amico will cater this Saturday’s annual Brooklyn Park Rotary Club dinner.
It’s the largest catering job the company has done for the clubhouse so far. Plus, there’s the extra challenge of not being able to cook on site yet.
That’s because renovations are underway at the former Girvan Grille restaurant. The space, soon to be called The Brooklyn, is getting an extensive remodel that will encompass the clubhouse’s ballrooms and even its entrance.
Brooklyn Park staff say they’re excited for the changes.
“We’ve been 20 years with the same food and beverage provider,” said Brad Tullberg, park and facilities manager for Brooklyn Park. “We are happy to have D’Amico and Partners catering, handling the food and beverage operation here at Edinburgh. It’s a very well-known name. The early reviews on all the events we’ve had to this point have been fantastic on their professionalism in handling events and the quality of their food.”
The $1.5 million project is due to finish mid-April. D’Amico will have to continue to cook its catering cuisine off-site until then.
