Crystal’s 103 year-old Lives Independently
The Cavanagh Apartments in Crystal has a rare gem in 103-year-old Delores Block. She was one of the first residents of the senior apartments when it opened four years ago. Residents say she’s spunky with lots of stories.
“She used to own a roller rink and restaurant where she cooked everything. And she owned a dairy store,” says Barb Frank with Cavanagh Senior Apartments. “She lives here and takes care of herself because this is not assisted living.”
