Crystal Police Investigate Fatal Shooting
Crystal police say they have a person of interest following a shooting that left one man dead on Friday night. The investigation is ongoing.
The incident happened in the parking lot in front of the Crystal Village Apartments. Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as 29-year-old DeShawn McCabe of Monticello.
Police say the shooting victim and the suspect did know each other. Police also believe there could be another individual involved.
As of Monday afternoon Crystal Police had not made any arrests and were still trying to piece the case together. They are not exactly sure what happened.
