Crystal, New Hope Residents Can Get “CodeRed” Alerts
The CodeRed program is up and running in Crystal and New Hope. CodeRed is a service offered in coordination with the cities and the West Metro Fire Department. It lets citizens sign up for an alert program that will tell them about emergency and urgent situations such as hazardous fires, crimes, and street flooding.
If you’d like to sign up, text “crystalnewhope” (without the quotes) to 99411. There’s also an app, CodeRed, that you can download to customize your alerts.
