Crystal Extends Nighttime Curfew
The city of Crystal announced they have extended a city-wide curfew Monday and Tuesday nights. This follows the modified curfew announced by Governor Tim Walz Monday.

CURFEW EXTENSION ANNOUNCEMENT – June 1 and June 2, 2020
The City of Crystal has extended a City-Wide Curfew tonight and tomorrow in conjunction with our neighboring communities and the Governor’s order:
*Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 4:00 a.m.
*Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 4:00 a.m.
During the hours of the curfew, the curfew includes all public places, including streets and areas accessible to the general public. The curfew does not extend to people traveling to or from work, emergency services, law enforcement, people seeking emergency medical care or fleeing danger, the homeless, and the news media.
We will also encourage you to not take stock in the things that you may be reading on social media regarding the current unrest. We are aware of much chatter on various social media outlets regarding what’s going on and believe this is contributing to a significant amount of mis-information about what is really happening. We are in constant communication with intelligence officials and believe we have a good handle on what is is happening in our area. As always, we will communicate things of important note on our social media sites.
