Crazy Picture of Corn on Crystal Train Tracks Goes Viral
A train malfunction turned parts of Crystal into “corny Crystal.”
A car on a Canadian Pacific Railways train accidentally opened up, spilling tons of gold kernels inside the railroad tracks.
The smoothly paved “corn trail” was approximately 400 to 500 yards long, with all of the kernels landing in perfect form.
The spill happened on the east-west tracks running under County Road 81. By Tuesday afternoon, a crew was soon dispatched to clean up the “corn ribbon.”
CCX News spoke with a Canadian Pacific official at the site, but he declined an on-camera interview request.
