Courage Kenny Hosts the “Art of Possibilities” Show
The “Art of Possibilities” Show and Sale is open at the Courage Kenny Center Rehabilitation Institute in Golden Valley.
“The goal every year is to really support artists with their talents and their skills,” said Kelly Buttler, who manages in-kind giving. “It’s a way to give everybody an opportunity to share their art with the world and show their talents, skills, and abilities.”
This is the 55th year of the show and there are 167 artists represented. Works range from oil and acrylic paintings to drawings and mixed media. Artists submit work from across the country and around the world.
But there are many local artists on display as well.
“It’s just my other part of my life. That just lets me get into the flow. I can lose track of time,” explained artist Susan Warner who is from Brooklyn Center. “I put music on and I just love it.”
All of the work you’ll see is for sale with 75 percent of proceeds going to the artist and 25 percent going to the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. The show is up at Courage Kenny through May 17th. You can come by to view it anytime they are open.
