Construction To Begin on New Brooklyn Park Assisted Living Complex
A new housing development in Brooklyn Park will provide seniors with a much-needed service.
Angels Living LLC is an all-inclusive assisted living center planned for construction at 9415 W. River Rd.
Developer Ayo Awoleye said the building will have 34 units, with 20 providing memory care assistance.
“To have a mid-size memory care and assisted living in the community, to support the need, of supporting, helping our seniors, and something I’ve been doing the last two decades myself,” Awoleye said.

Officials gathered on Friday, Aug. 23 to celebrate the start of the project.
According to Awoleye, it took about five years to get the project off the ground.
“It was challenging to find somewhere within the neighborhood and not too crowded, not in a dense commercial area,” he said. “[I wanted] something in the neighborhood. Want the neighbors to feel something within that community, so it was challenging.”
The facility is expected to open in spring 2025.
