Coats for Kids Collection Drive Begins
The season of giving is in full swing for Pilgrim’s Cleaners with the beginning of this year’s Coats for Kids drive.
You can now drop off coats or a monetary donation at any Pilgrim’s Cleaners location. The Coats for Kids drive was founded in 1986 to ensure that Minnesota children in need would have access to warm coats each winter. Since the beginning of the drive the company has collected more than 453,000 coats for families in need.
“Our goal is always 10,000 coats to collect them clean them and then donate them to local non-profits, last year we did over 10,500 coats so it was a really great year last year,” said Laura Dizon, with Pilgrim’s Cleaners. “I’m thinking with more people and businesses helping us this year we could collect over 11,000.”
You can donate a coat at any of the Pilgrim Dry Cleaners locations or Davanni’s Pizza locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area. When you donate, you also receive a 25-percent off coupon.
