Chi-Chi’s Returns After 20 Years To Open Maple Grove Restaurant
A beloved Mexican restaurant is making its return to the Twin Cities — and one of it’s locations will be in Maple Grove.
Michael McDermott is the son of the founder of Chi-Chi’s Mexican Restaurant and its new owner.
McDermott has told multiple media outlets that a rebuild of the chain will start with two Rojo Mexican Grill locations in the metro.
One of those locations is in Maple Grove at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes.
The restaurant is expected to be remodeled and open as a Chi-Chi’s this fall.
Another Rojo Mexican Grill location at The West End in St. Louis Park will be the first to reopen as a Chi-Chi’s.
Chi-Chi’s will replace the Rojo Mexican Grill in Maple Grove.
