Charity Boxing Event Benefits Brooklyn Park Officer
Officer Emily Krob is a 14-year veteran of Brooklyn Park police and is battling cancer. A boxing benefit is planned for Saturday, with one-third of the matches featuring Brooklyn Park police officers.
Doctors diagnosed officer Krob with RMS, a cancer of the soft tissue. She’s currently undergoing chemotherapy.
The Saturday boxing event takes place at Uppercut Boxing Gym in northeast Minneapolis. Tickets are $30 for general admission. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Boxing matches start at 7 p.m.
