Calvary Lutheran Church Offers Ultimate Tailgate Party
Vikings fans have something to look forward to Sunday in Golden Valley. The public is invited to what’s being called the Ultimate Tailgate Party at Calvary Lutheran Church. The church will set up a 20-foot-wide screen in their outdoor park. They’ll show the first regular-season Vikings game starting at 11:30. Everything is free. That includes lunch, with burgers, brats and more. Of course, no alcohol is allowed. Inflatables, face painting and more for the kids will accompany prize drawings. One of the prizes is a combo smoker-grill. If you come, try to wear a team jersey, and bring your own lawn chair.
