Buildings Spruced Up at Brooklyn Park’s Eidem Farm
You can learn the story of Brooklyn Park at the Historic Eidem Farm.
“We interpret from 1905 to 1920 and the house we know dates back to late 1870s,” said Eve Ericson, a site interpreter at the Eidem Farm.
This summer the city of Brooklyn Park has been sprucing up some of the buildings at the Farm.
“The city has invested a lot into the historic farm here,” said Ericson.
Buildings have new roofs, new siding and exterior improvements, plus new paint. The floor in the kitchen was also replaced.
The cost of the renovations were around $75,000.
