Brooklyn Park Retailer Makes Celtic Face Masks
Since the governor’s stay-at-home order, Celtic Croft in Brooklyn Park has added a “face masks” tab on its website.
Kaurina Niznik, the rental coordinator of Celtic Croft, said the business is making face masks with ties to the Celtic culture.
“People are finding a lot of joy in them. If it’s something people have to wear then it makes it a brighter day when you get to wear a tartan. And it ties into your culture,” said Niznik.
The Irish and Scottish-inspired face masks have double lining and it’s made of washable cotton. There is also a wire lining on top so people can mold it onto their nose and face.
“We’re offering elastic unless someone prefers to have ties, so we’re making what people want,” explained Niznik.
Celtic Croft ships to all 50 states and sometimes out of the U.S.
“It’s been a really big way to connect with our community and customers in a way we’ve never been able to before,” Niznik said.
