Brooklyn Park Police: Suspect Arrested After Woman Pistol-Whipped
Brooklyn Park police are investigating reports of two women who were allegedly held against their will and assaulted in the early morning hours of June 28.
Police say they were dispatched to Autumn Ridge Apartments at around 4:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a possible kidnapping.
According to police, a woman told officers that a male suspect had pistol-whipped her. The suspect had also allegedly assaulted another woman at the apartment.
Responding officers broke down the door to the apartment. They found a male suspect, who was arrested at the scene.
Charges were pending as of Thursday afternoon.
