Brooklyn Park Police Seek Help Finding Missing 3-Year-Old
Brooklyn Park police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 3-year-old girl. Authorities say Try’reshia Chamberlain was last seen May 1 after her father, Trimell Chamberlain, took her.
According to the criminal complaint, the 30-year-old father was deemed unfit to care for children and the toddler’s mother is deceased. Chamberlain and a maternal aunt share legal and physical custody of the little girl. The aunt alerted police back in July after she hadn’t seen the little girl in months. Police say Chamberlain refused to tell anyone the girl’s whereabouts. Police arrested him Monday and say he’s still not cooperating.
Deputy Chief Mark Bruley says investigators don’t really have much to go on.
“We are asking for anybody who may know where she is, or have any information to please contact us, even if you think it’s minor, we’re still interested,” Bruley explained. “She’s been missing since May so, it’s very concerning to us where she’s at, and so we’re asking the public if they have anyone out there that knows where she is or where she was at one point, we’re asking them to contact us.”
Try’reshia is described as an African-American female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 2-2 1/2 feet tall and approximately 20-30 pounds.
Anyone with any information about the missing child is asked to call Brooklyn Park Police at 763-493-8222.
