Brooklyn Park Police Search for Suspect Who Fired Gunshots Into Air
Brooklyn Park police say someone fired multiple gunshots into the air on Sunday night.
The incident happened at around 11 p.m. on Sunday, close to where two teens were shot last week on Halloween.
According to police, a witness saw someone fire multiple gunshots in the air in the 7200 block of Zane Avenue and flee the scene in a vehicle.
Brooklyn Park police say someone fired multiple gunshots into the air near Zane and 73rd on Sunday night.
“Upon reaching the scene, officers found a victim who was unharmed,” read a community alert sent by Brooklyn Park police. “Although the victim knows the suspect, the police were unable to locate the individual during that time. The case is still being investigated.”
Police found evidence of gunfire at the intersection of 73rd and Zane. Huntington Place Apartments is also located at the intersection.
