Brooklyn Park Police Arrest Teenage Homicide Suspect
Brooklyn Park police arrested a teenage murder suspect on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Police believe the 19-year-old Coon Rapids man shot and killed 23-year-old Ramon Blue on Dec. 7 outside a clothing store.
Blue was one of two shooting victims found that day outside the Trendsetters clothing store off Brooklyn Boulevard.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Blue later died in the hospital. The other victim is expected to recover.
Charges for the alleged shooter were pending when this story was published.
Jail records show the suspect also had a warrant for his arrest related to a domestic assault case in Plymouth.
