Brooklyn Park Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint
Brooklyn Park police are looking for a gunman who held up a pizza delivery driver. The driver was supposed to make a delivery at around 10 p.m. Sunday at the Villa Del Coronado Apartments on Zane Avenue. When the driver got there, a supposed customer requested he go to another location. The driver went to the other address, which was where he was robbed.
“The person had presented a handgun to the delivery driver and then asked for any money he had on him,” said Shane DuPaul, Brooklyn Park deputy police chief. “That driver turned over his money and the pizza and then was able to get out of the area.”
The driver was not injured. Police would not reveal the name of the pizza company or how much money was taken.
Authorities continue to look for the gunman. Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call Brooklyn Park police.
